The Kauai real estate market started to cool off last month as interest rates climbed and sales prices remain high compared to May of 2021. The median sales price for single-family homes still hovered over one-million dollars but dropped nearly 10%. However, condo prices jumped by roughly 25% during that same time period. The overall sales volume for single-family homes plummeted by about 50%.
